EV RESEARCH
Trishla Shaktan
Management Trainee
An imaginative and who dreams with eyes wide open, she is in love with the well-known phrase coined by Albert Einstein “I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination”, Trishla is looking forward to address the serious climate related risks in her own way. Pursuing her passion, she has enrolled in the Ph.D. programme leading to figuring out how REDD+ can be implemented in areas and how communities can benefit from such activities.
She is also the recipient of the prestigious ITTO fellowship to support her Ph.D. The importance of her research can be understood by the interest the International Tropical Timber Organization took in her work. She is working on scoping study for REDD+ activities in temperate forests that have been degraded over time.
She works with EV Research on a part-time basis to push herself into research based entrepreneurship in climate related activities and be ready with a plan once she gets her Ph.D. Degree. She is effervescent and always onto some creative mischief that often turns into ideas.
